About
Fitness Focussed is an independent publication about the basics that make the biggest difference: training you can repeat, food that supports it, mobility, sensible equipment choices and the habits that hold it all together.
The idea is simple. Most people do not need more information about fitness, they need less of it, sorted properly. Each article tries to answer one question clearly, explain the reasoning, give you something concrete to do, and say where the limits are.
What we cover
- Training: strength and cardio fundamentals, progression and weekly planning.
- Nutrition: protein, carbohydrate, hydration and everyday eating, food first.
- Weight management: gradual, evidence-minded change, without crash diets or shame.
- Mobility: short routines that fit around work and training.
- Gear: how to judge equipment by fit, function and safety rather than by brand.
- Habits: cues, routines and getting going again after a break.
What we leave out
We do not sell or promote supplements, programmes, apps or equipment. There are no affiliate links, no sponsored posts and no paid placements. We do not promise fast weight loss or dramatic transformations, and we do not publish before-and-after content.
Who writes it
Articles are published under the name The Focus Desk, the site’s small editorial team. We are not doctors, dietitians or physiotherapists, and we do not present ourselves as such. Drafts may be prepared with the help of AI writing tools; every article is then fact-checked, edited and approved by a human editor before it is published. Our method explains how that works and what we will and will not claim.
About this domain
Fitness Focussed is a new, independent website launched in October 2026. The domain name was previously used by an unrelated fitness and nutrition blog between roughly 2013 and 2024. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to that earlier site, its authors or any business associated with it. None of its content has been republished here, and we cannot answer questions about it.
